Halo Knight support: warranty, parts and returns

By · English edition published .

Independent editorial guide, not the manufacturer’s customer-service website. English language does not imply UK, US or worldwide sales coverage.

Contact service@haloknights.com or the official contact form with your purchase details and fault description. If you bought through a dealer, also contact the seller on your invoice. Le Tech does not accept repair cases for Halo Knight.

Prepare a clear support request

The contact page lists weekday support hours of 09:00–18:00 GMT+8, not French or UK local time. These hours do not establish a response deadline.

The service page requests order, tracking and serial details plus visual evidence. Before writing, organise:

  • Purchase: invoice, seller, order number and receipt date.
  • Identification: exact model and version, legible serial number and affected part if known.
  • Symptoms: what happens, when it began, any error message and steps already taken.
  • Evidence: overall photos and close-ups; a short video only if the fault can be shown safely without dismantling.
  • Transit damage: packaging photos and the available tracking history.

Keep the exchange in one thread. Send invoices and serial numbers privately to the relevant support channel, not public comments.

A message you can adapt

Order [number], model [version], bought from [seller] and received on [date]. Since [date], I have noticed [symptom]. Attached are my receipt and images. What remedy do you propose, under which warranty or legal basis, with what costs and estimated timescale?

Direct purchase or dealer: clarify the coverage

The customer-service page includes authorised retailers, while the warranty exclusions reject purchases outside the official store. Do not assume manufacturer coverage for a dealer purchase. Ask both parties to confirm the position for your invoice.

The contractual seller is identified in your purchase documents. A regional storefront or European warehouse alone does not establish an EU-based seller. Keep that distinction in mind when seeking advice about consumer rights.

Commercial scooter warranty: not uniformly one year

The published policy lists periods from receipt, subject to conditions:

Six months

Battery, motors, controller, display and lights.

Twelve months

Body, folding mechanism, shock absorber, brake, accelerator, switch, speed limiter and charger.

Commercial exclusions include wear, water damage, misuse and unauthorised repairs. Separately purchased parts have restricted coverage, apart from arrival damage. Confirm the treatment of your particular part before opening or replacing anything.

A listed brake category does not promise free replacement of worn brake pads. Nor do these commercial periods settle the statutory protections that may apply to your purchase.

Faults, arrival damage and replacement parts

The returns policy asks for arrival damage or non-functioning goods to be reported within seven days, with evidence, followed by acceptance and a return address. Report problems promptly; this commercial deadline is not a complete statement of legal rights.

  1. Describe the issue and whether it was present on delivery.
  2. Ask which remedy is proposed: diagnosis, a part, repair or a whole-vehicle return.
  3. Get written instructions covering the address, packaging, carrier, labour, shipping costs and estimated timescale.
  4. Retain the approval, messages, parcel photos and proof of posting if a return is arranged.

For covered parts, the commercial warranty lists free parts and shipping within seven days, then free parts but customer-paid shipping within the applicable period. This does not automatically cover whole-vehicle transport or labour.

The returns policy separately restricts unused direct-store returns and describes customer shipping charges and deductions for non-defect returns. Ask for an itemised quotation and the basis for each charge. Do not treat every published deduction as necessarily enforceable under applicable consumer law.

Changing your mind is different from reporting a defect

Describe the actual reason for your request. A distance-selling withdrawal right, where applicable, should be assessed separately from the merchant’s voluntary return scheme. If you only need parcel tracking, see our delivery guide.

France and EU rights are separate from commercial warranty

Your Europe explains a minimum two-year legal guarantee for qualifying consumer purchases from professional sellers in the EU. Faulty goods may require a free repair or replacement, or another remedy under the applicable conditions. An additional commercial warranty cannot reduce those rights.

For France, consult the official conformity-guarantee guidance (French). For qualifying distance purchases, a 14-day withdrawal period generally applies, with exceptions and rules on notice and return costs: see Service Public (French) and Your Europe.

This is general France/EU information, not a determination of your case or UK/US legal advice. The seller, destination and applicable law matter. A non-EU trader targeting EU consumers may still be subject to EU protections, but enforcement can be difficult. Seek advice from a consumer body if the seller’s position conflicts with your rights.

Frequently asked questions

How do I contact Halo Knight support?

Use service@haloknights.com or the official contact form. Prepare your purchase receipt, order details and a clear description of the fault. Le Tech is an independent publisher, not Halo Knight’s repair service.

Is the scooter battery covered for a full year?

The commercial scooter policy lists six months for the battery, subject to conditions. Do not confuse it with the e-bike battery entry. Applicable statutory rights are a separate matter.

Who should I contact after buying from a dealer?

Start with the seller named on your invoice. Halo Knight’s service and warranty pages conflict about dealer purchases, so request written confirmation of manufacturer commercial coverage.

Should I send a faulty scooter back immediately?

First obtain the case reference, written instructions, return address and allocation of costs. Distinguish a replacement-part shipment from returning the whole vehicle. Applicable legal rights remain separate.
