What a ride review needs to document
The exact bike
Variant, size, build, tyres and pressures, suspension setup, motor software where accessible, and weight with the included accessories clearly stated.
Terrain and assistance
Distance, elevation gain, surface, temperature, rider and luggage weight, assist modes, and battery charge at the start and finish.
How it rides
Hill starts, motor control, braking, comfort, noise, handling and moving the bike while stationary, separating impressions from measurements.
What remains unknown
A short review cannot establish long-term reliability. Wear, water resistance and after-sales service will not be described as proven without sufficient observations.
Loans, supplied bikes and independence
Each review will say whether Le Tech bought, borrowed or was supplied the bike, along with any return conditions. Commercial links will be labelled where they appear. The verdict will remain editorial.
Our first reviews will focus on e-MTBs. Urban, trekking, folding and fat bikes can be distinguished when relevant reviews exist.
